How information is collected, how it is used and how to contact us about your privacy.
This privacy policy describes information collected through lightningengineer.com and related inquiries submitted to Florida Engineering LLC, d/b/a Lightning Engineering. The FE / LE / GE team may be involved in responding to your request. Other websites and services linked from this site may have their own privacy notices.
Please read this privacy policy carefully. By accessing or using our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to be bound to the terms of this privacy policy.
When you submit an inquiry, project-support request or order, information may include your name, company, email address, phone number, billing or mailing address, project location, project number and requested services.
Plans, drawings, photographs, permit comments and other documents may include information about owners, occupants or other project participants. Provide only information relevant to the request and ensure you are authorized to share information about others.
Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers or payment-card details through general inquiry forms or ordinary email.
We use the information you provide to respond to questions, evaluate engineering requests, prepare proposals, coordinate services, provide project support and process orders and billing. Submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to newsletter marketing.
Our contact and project-support pages use Jotform to receive submissions and attachments. Information entered into those forms is processed through Jotform and made available to our team. Read Jotform’s privacy policy. Completed order forms and supporting information may also be emailed to the address on our order page.
The Customer Payment Portal links to a third-party payment service. Information entered there is processed under the payment provider’s applicable privacy notice and terms. Use the payment portal for card information.
Calls are recorded to help improve our communications. Recordings may contain your voice, contact information and the project details discussed. For questions about a recording or to request another way to communicate, contact marketing@fleng.com.
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Cookies, tags and similar tools can process information such as your IP address, device and browser details, pages visited, referring page and website interactions.
Google tools are installed for website measurement and tag management. Analytics and advertising providers may associate cookie or device identifiers with information they already hold; these tools should not be treated as anonymous in every circumstance.
Embedded maps, forms and other external content can send technical information to the relevant provider when loaded or used. Linked websites operate under their own privacy notices.
You can use browser cookie controls and provider advertising settings to limit some collection. Blocking cookies may affect site features and does not necessarily stop all data processing. How Google uses information from partner sites.
Newsletter marketing is sent to people who choose to sign up. We retain your newsletter subscription until you request to unsubscribe. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or email marketing@fleng.com.
Unsubscribing does not cancel an engineering project or stop communications needed to respond to your request or manage an existing project.
We do not sell customer or contact information or share customer/contact lists with advertisers. Information is still processed by providers involved in website hosting, form submission, communications, payment processing, website measurement and other features described in this notice.
Provider processing and retention practices can differ from ours. Review the relevant provider’s privacy notice when using an external service.
Newsletter subscription retention is described above. For questions about an inquiry, project file, payment record or call recording, contact us and identify the relevant record. An unsubscribe request does not automatically delete those separate records. Retention or deletion may be subject to contractual or legal obligations.
No website, email service or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Limit submissions to necessary information and contact us before transmitting unusually sensitive material.
You can contact us to ask about information you have provided, request a correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern. We may need to confirm your identity and relationship to the information before responding, and some records may need to be retained.
Send requests to marketing@fleng.com. Include enough information to locate the request or project without sending sensitive identity or account information by ordinary email.
